Our cities'

 disaster response

Every year, ~ 20 million people around the world lose their home due to natural disasters. Unfortunately, the majority do not receive adequate shelter support. In fact, most city disaster response plans are only designed to provide shelter for a fraction of those affected for a finite duration. Even then, shelter delivery is seldom timely. We as individuals must therefore educate ourselves on our own city's emergency shelter response plans to be better prepared when the time comes.
